New bar sink. Hate the tiny round type. This is a substantial sink. Nice and deep. Came with sink rack, roll up type dish drainer and a cutting board. Love it. Plumber said he was impressed with the quality of this sink. The mounting hardware did not work with my 1 1/2" thick counter top.The mounting tabs on the sink could have been longer with more slots to accommodate for thick counter top mounting.Put this sink in as a drop-in about a month ago. Overall, this sink is sturdy, well built and looks great. I returned an 18 gauge b/c it started to rust. At 16 gauge this is noticeably thicker. of course you may have to cut the counter top/granite to fit it in.The clamps provided are the only real negative, And while good in concept, they MUST have the sink wall (or something) to secure against. Otherwise, as you tighten them down the clamp will pop off. How they expect you to tighten with the clamps on the back of the sink is beyond me. After several attempts, I decided to use some wood blocks (2x4 + 1/2" plywood) on the back of the sink to provide something for the clamp to secure against as i tightened. This worked well. Also, the instruction say to install (hang) the clamps on the sink before you put drop it in but this makes Zero sense as the clamps can not fold out of the way and protrude past the lip of the sink... duh... However, on one side i had just enough space to put one clamp on after the sink was in place and tightened it down. As long as you have some space between the sink wall and cabinet wall you will be able to put the clamps on after the sink is in place. If the sink fits nicely on the countertop with out any gaps, and you can't get the clamps on, I wouldn't worry about them. just put extra calking and it will be glued well enough. For me, the back of the sink has a bit of a gap so I needed the clamps to cinch down the back as i described above.Other notes:The sink drains ok. seems like none of these style sinks have an aggressive slope. It only came with two holes but i drilled a 3rd for my water filter. (Youtube if you want to know how). I know some have complained the 2nd hole is too small for a soap dispenser but my old soap dispenser just barely fit.Not sure why some complain about water spots, just wipe them. Water spots in the bottom don't show and if you don't want to wipe the edge and don't want water spots, Don't buy a SS sink!Extras: are just that. not a reason to buy or not buy in my opinion. The sink comes with a drain grid which as someone mentioned is a bit flimsy but it certainly works well enough to hold dishes/pots/pans. maybe it won't last, but you can alway buy another (better one). the bottom rack is convenient and presumably will keep the sink bottom from getting scratched. nice bonus that it comes with the sink, I would have had to buy one otherwise. The cutting board is nice if you want to cut over the sink... honestly mine is still in the shrink wrap.If the designers fix the clamps and offer a third hole option, I would give it 5 stars. This is a great sink and pretty sturdy. We installed it in our kitchen island as a prep sink. The accessories would be a lot nicer if there was a lip inside the sink to make them flush with the sink instead of on top, but that's not why I bought the sink. The faucet was a little tricky to install because the sink is so deep, but with some maneuvering it all came together. The coating on the underside of the sink definitely helps reduce the noice of a stainless steel sink. If you have hard water, this is going to show water spots pretty bad, like any other dark colored sink. Overall, i'd purchase it again. The sink has lots of room. Looks nice. The accessories that come with it are nice too.My only issue with it is that the steep angle is very low to nonexistent, so food won't slide off the disposal and will sit there until you push off every piece of food with your fingers.I am really impressed, ordering unseen can be frightening but I am so happy with sink. It's beautiful, easy cleaning, sturdy, should last a long time.I did a kitchen update and choose this sink to replace an old stainless double sink. When I unpacked the sink I was completely impressed with how well it was packed. The manufacturer had it well insulated and even had some thin boards on each side of the box to prevent crushing or denting of the fixture. Everything was well packed and all items were in perfect condition. I don't have a dishwasher so I really like having the bottom rack in the sink to keep dishes (especially pots) clean & up out of dirty water. It's a big plus when cleaning up from things like chili and spaghetti! The top drain rack is really only good for a few dishes that collect in between meals but it is handy. The cutting board is quite nice as well, but I would definitely recommend conditioning it before using. I used my butcher block wax/oil. I do eventually plan to do a full gut remodel of the kitchen in the future so I also appreciated that the sink can be undermount or top mount so I have the flexibility. Based on other kitchen updates I've done over the years and spending $1000's of dollars I can say this sink rates up there with much more expensive models I've owned, but only for a fraction of the cost. The sink is as described and looks great. I was disappointed that the edges of the sink are not tapered creating a square edge that will catch dirt and might be annoying the keep clean.I just ordered this sink for a basement bar and from first inspection it looks to be of really good quality - the 16ga steel is much better than what you would find in stores.I haven't installed it yet but I don't foresee any issues. But I always get nervous buying things like this online since people have very differing opinions. So far, this seems like a good decision.Such wonderful quality product! Absolutely love my new sink! Thank you very much I highly highly recommend this product!!Love love love this sink. Looks wonderful. Easy to clean. Beautiful surface.Beautiful and deep. But I should have installed the faucet on the sink before I installed it into the countertop. It’s gorgeous!
