From un packing box to making sure all parts where in the box and identifying the parts and fasteners to finished product 1/2 hr . you will need a small hammer just to tap some tight fitting dowels in place . It is solid and sturdy very pleased with this purchase and would buy again .ASSEMBLYJust about everything went well. One small screw was missing for the shelf supports, but easily replaced. The holes for the dowels on the side supports were too small. Drilled them out, but the dowels must be metric sized so my holes were a little large. Nice that they installed all the hinges and pins, that would have doubled the assembly time.Overall, nice looking and solidly built. I don't see much use for the knife block. Thinking of hinging it and making it into dropleaf, would increase surface area alot.Came with two extra dowels. Used them to attach my cutting board to the top.Only negative is that I have to leave the sides out a little for standing when folded, but overall very pleased.Living full time in my RV offers challenges in the kitchen probably as much or more than any other area of my life. I started looking into adding an island in the kitchen as a lot of the RV offer this feature. My research showed that it is not something that can be retro fitted so next option is find an after market solution. I found this fold able island on Amazon the more I looked at it and review it I was sold. Amazon has a feature for some of their home items that allows you to use your smart phone and actually see the item in your room and it was available with this folding island. With the smart phone projection I was able see the actual space it would require and get a much better feel for the fit into my kitchen. The assembly was a bit tricky and I had to back up a few times and I was able to complete the assembly without any assistance. A second set of hands would have come in handy but not required. The unit is not rock solid but I did not expect it to be it is plenty stable and secure for me. With it being foldable I will be able to easily store the items on the island and fold it for travels. As the pictures so I have a full size coffee maker and 6 quart instant pot on the top shelf with my Cuisinart 7 cup food processor and TOA-28 air fryer on the second shelf with misc. supplies on the bottom shelf. Overall I am pleased with the quality and function of the folding island. All the hardware and screws fit with no alterations required. I did opt to not use the knife and towel holders it made a cleaner fit in my RV.happy with purchase overall. ours was ship & sold from amazon and arrived in perfect shape. No missing/cracked/misaligned holes/parts/etc.. There is one tiny issue with top folding part (the two pieces are already put together), it opens for use with a slight gap on one side but, it's not that noticable really. Color and wood was overall in decent shape, there was no splinters/etc and there was only one small area with an ugly burn like wood spot on it. Strength of cart body itself is great, i sat on it with wheels on and it held up fine (109lbs), one problem however is with the shelves themselves, the border of them is very strong but, the wood slats that go across them is not! they bend down just by pushing down on them with my hand and they will not hold really heavy stuff for long IMO. I put a large crockpot on it and you can clearly see shelf bowing down. We plan on adding a slat of wood on bottom center of both shelves (depth wise) to avoid wood getting warped/breaking over time from the weight of items on it..4 stars only to me because;1. shelves are weak and bound to warp overtime with heavy items on them (unless one reinforces them)2. description say 'papertowel holder' and there is not one, only a towel holder that i have no use for.personally i would of bought the winsome wood utility cart with the pull out cutting board on it had i paid attention to reviews stating there was no papertowel holder on this here cart for that is why i chose this one over the other. In the end, i do like cart, it will eventually hold a lot. Plus cart was simple and quick to put together will a drill. it took less than 30mins and thats with being in slow mode and having to redo one part because we did not really pay attention and therefore did not notice #2 pic on instruction sheet has cart upside down!I received this product at 4:55 this afternoon and took my time assembling it; by 6:25, it was done. The wood and its finish were of better quality than I expected, but as other reviewers have noted, the hardware was lacking. The screws and supplied hex wrench seem to all be brass, which is soft and brittle; I wish I had taken another reviewer's advice and purchased better screws and a better wrench, but I was in a hurry to solve my kitchen issues.I did independently take the extra step of adding glue to the dowels and holes, so I am confident that this will hold up for quite some time.Said hardware and a very slight unevenness of the pre-assembled pieces and the so-slight lack of alignment of the pre-drilled screw holes are the reasons for my one-star ding. Again, the wood was a nice surprise, everything else wasn't quite as well done.I did lean over the top of the finished piece and raise my feet off of the floor, so I can honestly say that it will support 170 pounds... ;-)It was exactly as tall as I wanted (maybe about one-and-a-half to two inches shorter than my kitchen counters), and a little wider than I expected, once I saw it in the middle of my puny kitchen. That said, as much as it crowds the very limited floor space in the room, it also adds surface working area and storage that I did not have before, so I am very happy with the trade-off.I haven't tested the foldability of this piece as I have no plans to do so until I move to another home. Until then, I count it as furniture.Overall, I am very happy with this kitchen cart.We have very limited counter space in our kitchen and this cart has really made cooking much more enjoyable! It was easy to put together (though I recommend having two sets of hands as it can be a bit precarious before you have all the pieces together). The shelves can't handle anything too heavy, but are able to hold our family-sized crockpot so they're strong enough for us! One grievance is that the wood started to split when attaching the towel rack on the end. It is a very small and unnoticeable crack, but something to remember during assembly: be gentle! Also important to note that this item is about $100 more expensive on Wayfair, so it felt like a steal of a deal.Well packaged. Nothing was damaged. All the parts where there. Easy to assemble, we did use a screw gun, just made it that much easier. All the holes lined up. Super sturdy. We needed it for our chamber Vac and all its bags. The chamber vac is 70+ Pounds and the cart rolls around very easily with it on there. This thing is way sturdier than I expected and, according to my wife, was easy to assemble. If I had the room, I'd grab a couple more. It's also quite nice looking.Product is exactly as described in advertisement. Easy to put together and easy to store when not in use.Shelving would not hold anything too heavy but does hold toaster and other smaller appliances.Great value for the priceLooks great. I use it as an appliance garage. I transfer the appliances to the kitchen counter when in use, as I don’t feel the cart would hold up under vibration. Bottom shelf has tipped out of place a few times.
