Many of the unfavorable reviews you will read here are about the drawers not fitting properly. I think I found your problem, people: the front of your drawer(s) is on upside down. Yes, it makes a huge difference even though the side pieces fit perfectly either way. I know this because I made the same mistake myself. Turn 'em around like I did and complain no more!The packaging is top-notch. No Styrofoam was spared to keep this unit safe as it travels to your door! Mine arrived in perfect condition despite the box showing signs of having been tossed around a bit by the carrier. Ahem.Onto the unit: it's a lot of work to assemble. I did it alone and it took me three hours. Each piece is clearly marked, though, making the job fairly easy. It's easy but still, it takes some time, a lot of muscle and, if you're anything like me, a bit of profanity. Also, there will likely be some leftover parts, which is nice. I stripped a screw during the assembly so it was handy that they threw in a few extras.This piece is solid. It's currently supporting my microwave, coffee maker, toaster and the shelves are loaded with my cookware, and not even the slightest hint of buckle. The colors of the picture are a bit misleading, however; they're deeper than they appear, which is a bonus. The deep colors make the unit appear richer.One drawer is big enough to support all of your flatware and then some. The other drawer works perfectly as that token junk drawer, freeing up space elsewhere for (what else?) more junk! It's a fantastic storage piece, especially when space is at a premium.If you're considering buying this, I can confidently say that you won't regret it. Just keep a careful eye on those drawer-fronts, okay?
